Great Private Bangkok city tour

We took this tour and enjoyed it a lot. Our guide Miss Supatsara was a charming and kind lady with full knowledge about her subject. She took us to a very nice place for lunch which was delicious. The transport was nice clean and air-conditioned. The boat ride was great too. A real 5 star tour. Hats off to Miss Supatsara. We’ll miss you.

Fantastic personal guided tour of Bangkok

My husband and I booked through the Trailfinders website a tour of Bangkok to see the Grand Palace, and Wat Pho to see the enormous 46metre golden reclining Buddha. We learned on completion of booking that this tour would be with "Mam Tours". We were met at our hotel lobby by Miss Chutima Nawsoon (Gimao) who led us out to a large new car which was driven by a driver called Nong. We learned then that we were the only people on the actual tour. What a fantastic day! Aside from the actual sights we saw, Gimao spoke perfect English and gave us valuable information about each of our venues we were visiting. Nong's driving was faultless and she dropped us off and collected us from different locations and took us to the next. The air conditioned car was very welcome at times! Our guide appeared to "go out of her way" to take us to a variety of parts of Bangkok .. a walk through Chinatown, a personal ride on a boat on the Chao Phraya River (passing close to dwellings at the side of the river), a ferry across the actual river etc etc. Our tour included a buffet lunch on a boat moored on the river, and we had frequent opportunities to have a drink of bottled water, and fresh fruit from local vendors. We were dropped off at our hotel 8hrs later having thoroughly enjoyed our tour, both the visual aspect, and our guide's bubbly personality and enthusiasm. Many thanks!.

Tour guide: Miss Supatsara Wonghong (Aei)

Our tour guide, Aei, made our tour with MAM so special. She bought us water when we were hot, took photos of us, had well spoken English, and made sure overall we were always having a good time. She made our experience of seeing all the beauty Bangkok has to offer very memorable. I would recommend her to anyone looking at doing this tour. She was by far the best tour guide I have ever had and made our time in Bangkok amazing!.

Very good tour overall.

PROS: I booked through Viator’s website, which was user-friendly. It was easy to book the tour, and I received the guide’s contact information immediately. The tour was a little pricey compared to other private full-day tours. However, it was worth the amount paid being that I found and booked it the night before the tour. My guide, Aye S. of Mam Holidays Thailand, was amazing!!! She did a wonderful job providing information about the sites, helping to take photos, and allowing sufficient time to rest and hydrate. The sites chosen for the tour were well-selected…hitting many of the “must-sees”. Also, most of the souvenir shops that we stopped at had nice, reasonably priced items. CONS: I asked if we could stop by a jewelry store. The guide took me a little out of the way to Gems Gallery, where I purchased a few items. Afterwards, I learned that I had grossly overpaid for the gems purchased. This was disappointing, because the guide portrayed to be knowledgeable enough to recommend a reputable business with fair prices. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to a friend.

Was a great introduction to a big city

Ms Nuttaphat was one of the best guides I've ever had. She picked me up from my hotel and instantly made sure I knew what the day had in store. She was always knowledgeable, funny and a good personality. She makes sure you see as much as possible throughout the day and answers basically every question you could have.

My first trip to Hongkong with my Mum

Our tour guide was lovely, and knew a lot about all the destinations we visited. We saw a lot more than we expected to on our trip, and stopped at a restaurant for lunch that had nice food. My mum broke her ankle last year so finds steps difficult after a long day, but our guide helped us onto and off the little boats, meaning we could enjoy a trip around the canals! Without her help we probably wouldn’t have even tried. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a lot of Bangkok history in one day, whilst also going at your own pace. We were tired out on the way back to the hotel, but it was definitely worth it!.

Bangkok Day Tour

We only had one day in Bangkok before joining our cruise ship and this was a wonderful way to see the important sites. Our guide, Siri, was informative as well as making the day a lot of fun. She took lots of pictures for us and wouldn’t let us give up when we had problems getting into the boat for the tour through the canals. The step was so steep for two ladies with knee replacements, but we did it and glad we did. She was thoughtful and considerate. Perfect day for us in Bangkok.

Private Bangkok city tour full day with the grand palace

I will highly recommend this guided tour to my friends who are jet setters as it is safe, comfortable on an air conditioned private car and the tour guide was English speaking and friendly. Her name is Chutima Nawsoon, I called her Gimmao for short. This tour is worth the price as we toured the entire city of Bangkok with its history included and good lunch and snack!.
