Excellent tour for first time visitors!

I would highly recommend booking this tour while in Singapore. You should book it during the first few days so you get to know Singapore. Since it is private you can accomplish a lot more. Exceptional tour

Long day but worth it. 7 hours of walking and in an air conditioned van for just our party of 8. Our tour guide Michael was very informative, knowledgeable and accommodating. We asked him to take a side trip to the Catholic Cathedral which he did. He also used his camera to take numerous pictures of our group which he sent to us to download. One suggestion would be to include water with this tour, we had to stop numerous times to buy our own water! Highly recommend this tour and our guide Michael!.

Toh, and his driver...

Toh, and his driver Thomas, met us at our hotel early. The Mercedes Benz was quite comfortable especially with Singapore's humidity. Toh was quite knowledgeable about the history of Singapore and communicated it effectively with my wife and I. Our first stop was the National Orchid Park. The flora and fauna were simply breathtaking. Mount Faber Park was impressive. The culture and commerce Toh showed us in Little India, Kampang Glam and China Town were fascinating. The river cruise was quite relaxing and informative. The views from the river are spectacular. It was a packed day but it was worth it. Toh, and Thomas did an excellent job. Thank you..

Our friends have visited Singapore before, but we have not. We only had one day, and I wanted to maximize the experience for my family. It was a day packed with cultural, historical, and pleasurable exploration of Singapore. Alex was an excellent tour guide and he was very patient with my son's questions. Our tour was very nice, very friendly and provided interesting historical information. As for the visiting points, I believe that some of them should be changed for more iconic things to see. For instance, I would’ve preferred to have visited the High Grove garden instead of the orchid garden, in which we spend too much time. Other than that, it was a very good tour..

Best tour of the 12 we took in Southeast Adia

Alex was a wonderful accommodating guide. He was very easy to understand and had a wealth of knowledge of Singapore. We had been in the area for a few days, so he customized our tour on the fly based on what we still wanted to see. Transportation was very comfortable and cool. Wonderful trip with Jimmy

Jimmy picked us and our luggage uo at the airport a little before 9 and we located the driver and off we went. We saw everything on our list of items we wanted to see and had a local style lunch. A great way to start our Asian vacation!!!!

Alex was a wonderful guide in being very attentive to our needs. My wife had an issue with her right leg and Alex made sure she was as comfortable as could be. The attractions we visited were all at times where there were limited crowds. The ferris wheel and the gondola ride were wonderful as we had the entire capsules to ourselves. The only crowded experience was during lunch as it was a little past noon. Wonderful choices of many foods and we went with Alex's suggestions as he knew the best food vendors. Alex also made sure we had umbrellas as we experienced heavy rains during the afternoon. A great day in the lovely city of Singapore..

Worth it to Us!

The day was everything I hoped it to be! I really wanted a guided tour to see AS MANY "must see" attractions, sights, which included reliable transportation in the humid heat. My husband and I have traveled separately and together for years and agreed that the hardest part in a new location is planning places, tickets, best times, routes, parking, transportation, bathrooms and food/water. However, with this tour Alex Er made ALL of that easy. I'm pregnant and was worried I'd be spending more time looking for bathrooms vs enjoying Singapore. I recommend doing this tour either on the first or second day of your trip...this gives you time to get all the GREAT PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES...and then plan what/where you want to spend more time later. We did this tour on day two and Alex was accommodating to changing the itinerary slightly to ensure we saw everything we didn't already see. Food recommendations, shopping, history/cutlure lessons, and having the "local connection" made a huge difference in our trip. Tomorrow is day three and Alex gave us the rundown on what's worth seeing on Sentosa and HOW to best travel around there (taxi, monorail, tram). It IS a little pricey, but you spent all this money to get here...you might as well see all that you can in one day, without the frustrations of exploring a new place. If that's what you're looking for, this is the tour for you! Bottom line, I'd do this tour again, I'd recommend it to my own family and friends..

Seeing the Sights of Singapore should not be this Expensive...

Started out well enough. We were picked up at our hotel by Raymond and our driver right on time. Our first stop was the Singapore Botanical Gardens which are beautiful and share a history with the Kew Gardens of England. Next, Faber Park and the overlook. Nice! Then we were off to explore Little Turkey (which we really liked, but felt that we didn't have enough time there). We expressed a desire to stay but it seemed we were now on a schedule. Off to the Buddha Tooth Temple (AMAZING!). The worst part of the day was about to happen - the lunch stop. DO NOT eat there, ever. My red peppers were shreds of red paper? Zhong Hua Bao Ding. Back to Little India for refreshment before our canal cruise on Clark Quay. I have to say the canal cruise was VERY NICE. Please note: It is possible to do the canal cruise on your own as there is a ticket quiosk right on the canal. A good concierge can assist with this planning. I am not sure if a hop on hop off bus would get you to the Faber Park outlook, but I know it does stop at the Botanical Gardens. I would recommend checking that out and getting the route before booking any private tour in Singapore. They are all expensive and in our case, not worth it..

Alex (Ur) was beyond fantastic. On time, flexible, funny, knowledgeable, interesting, thoughtful. What more can we say? We did everything we hoped to do and more. His inside knowledge was incredibly useful and we would ask for him again if we ever return to Singapore. We’re all museum folks so have heard (and given) our share of tours. Alex is one of the best, if not the best, guide we’ve ever had. Bravo!.

This tour is as advertised. Our guide, Lo, met us at our hotel as scheduled, a few minutes later we were picked us up by our driver. We had lunch at one of the many hawker centers in Singapore and hit all the sites and attractions as was listed on the description. Beware of extra costs

This was a good trip, Alex was great, however what surprised us was that we owed SGD220 at the end. So we were recommended by Alex to go to Flower Fantasy which was good, we also went up Marina Bay Hotel, but both of these cost us. We did not cover all on our itinerary, but was hindered by rain, including riverboat etc, orchid garden, Merlion Park, so would like to know what we would have covered on our day trip if we didn't do the things that cost us on top of trip. We had to cover guides entrance too. So good trip but not value for money..

Super tour with a superb guide!

Our tour started at the Singapore port after disembarking a ocean cruise. We were promptly met outside of customs by our guide, Alex. We got into his vehicle which had very comfortably seats and a great air conditioner. Once on the road he told us about Singapore. history and current state. Alex grew up in Singapore, so he is a truly local guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and super articulate in his explanations of the various sights. Full day Tour in Singapore

We had Michael Tan Chai Huat as our guide for the date. He was ontime picking us up at the hotel and since it was pouring rain, he was very flexible with rearranging each stop so we can make the best of a miserable day weather wise. RIPP OFF TOUR OF SINGAPORE FOR LOTS OF CHARGES.

It is advertised as ROUND THE ISLAND TOUR OF SINGAPORE WHOLE DAY 7 HOURS. We were actually toured only in 5 KM radius on south side only by more talking than showing by Michael, who appeared to be knowledgeable. No river cruise, due to rain,and no refunds for that also. S$160 / person is a ripoff and waste DONOT USE THESE CONN PEOPLE. BAD COMPANY. FALCE ADVERTIZING..

Bad Experience

The tour operator used a third party guide who double booked with another family. My husband got a stomach issue during our tour and he wanted to return to our hotel which was 5 minutes away and the guide was elated telling us that he was going to take the opportunity to go and meet with the family he had double booked for a museum tour. He neglected to take into account that I had paid for a full day tour and my kids and I wished to continue with the tour after dropping my husband at our hotel. The guide only offered to come back and finish our tour in the evening but this didn’t work for us as we had dinner plans. We were never given the option to continue the tour. I had the driver drop us at Marina Bay Sands and then he took our guide to his other tour. I requested a refund with the tour operator for the 2 hours we didn’t get and he refused. The guide said he felt horrible, admitting the entire situation was his fault. He told the tour operator he would forgo his fee for the trouble so we could be refunded but the tour operator refused to consider our refund request. I also reached out to Viator asking for a refund and they took the side of the tour operator and refused to grant our refund request. Buyer beware with Viator. This sadly will be my last interaction with them. I felt as though they failed to protect me as a very long time customer and travel consumer. As for Singapore tours I would look for other options, this is not a tour operator that I could recommend. (Felt a bit shady and not honest in his response to me or Viator) The tour guide was the only one who seemed to feel bad and acknowledged his mistake. He called me and offered to take our family to the airport free of charge but after all that had transpired I just thanked him and passed..

Our guide, Eric, was very good. He was very knowledgeable about the history, the geography and the happenings in the city, The day was very full and very active but my husband and I feel we have a good understanding of Singapore, its diverse mix of cultures and its food. We ate at the "hawkers market" which was adventuresome but tasty. Visited some of the temples, drove to see the views, took a boat ride, saw some of the local produce and shops, and visited the beautiful orchid garden. We let the guide determine the route and we saw, heard and had an eye opening experience in our short visit. The tour included a guide and a driver. We walked a lot so wear comfortable shoes and it is hot, so dress appropriately..

Wir haben im berühmten Marina Bay Sands, dem neuen Statement Hotel der Stadt, übernachtet und wir waren sprachlos beim Ausblick des längsten Infinity Pool der Welt (150 Meter) über den Dächern der Metropole. Ein “Must Visit” sind die leuchtenden Supertrees oder auch die Gardens by the Bay, samt dem Flower Dome halten den Weltrekord als größtes Gewächshaus der Erde. Ein Indoor-Regenwald versetzt Besucher erneut ins Staunen. Man kommt aus dem Schauen kaum heraus. Neben den architektonischen Unglaublichkeiten isst man in Singapur ausnehmend gut. In Lau Pa Sat, dem Viktorianisches Hawker Center in der Innenstadt und Chinatown wird facettenreich und schmackhaft gekocht..

Dank des sehr guten Tourguides Robin...

Dank des sehr guten Tourguides Robin eine gelungene Tour. Pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit wurden wir in einem geräumigen Tourbus abgeholt. Die Tour war grundsätzlich vom Tourveranstalter durchgeplant, der Guide fragte uns aber, ob wir das so haben wollen, da einige uninteressante Orte dabei waren, dafür wesentlich schönere fehlten. Wir haben ihm dann freie Hand in der Veränderung der Ziele gelassen, was sich schlussendlich als sehr gute Entscheidung herausgestellt hat. Am Beginn stand der Orchid Garden inmitten des großen botanischen Gartens. Weiter ging es über Little India hin nach Chinatown. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegt dann die große Moschee des Sultans von Malaysia. Weiter ging es durch ein Peranakan Viertel t den typischen Häusern der Mischfamilien. Nach einem kurzen Trinkstop in einem Food Market ging es weiter zum Sri Mariamman Temple, einem indischen Tempel inmitten von Chinatown. Ein Spaziergang durch Chinatown endet am Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Nach dem Lunch ging es dann noch zum SIngapore River, wo eine abschließende Bootsfahrt durch die Marina Bay und den Singapore River gemacht wurde. Nochmals Danke an den sehr guten Tourguide Robin.

Totally worth it!

Hubby and I spent several hours with Loy Long, our tour guide and Thomas, our driver visiting several iconic locations in Singapore. We visited the Orchid Gardens, toured the city and noted landmark buildings like Raffles, drove up to Mount Faber Hill, with its stunning views, and had a river cruise to name a few of the things we did. Loy was exceptionally knowledgeable about Singaporean history and culture which he shared with us in an easy style that left you happy that this was your guide. Thomas was no slouch either and the two worked well together. They were engaging, friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommend them..

A must do in Singapore.

Must do this private tour. Alex, our driver and guide was Excellent. Friendly, funny, informative, accommodating. We saw so much of the city and learned a lot due to Alexs’ knowledge. Saw little India, the Arab section, amazing shopping streets that you would otherwise not know of, Floral Fantsy with 4D show, Keppel Island, Mount Faber and cable car to Santosa Island, lunch in Chinatown and Buddhist temple, river cruise around Marina Bay…so much to see. We did opt for the extras which cost a bit more but definitely worth it. Cannot speak highly enough of Alex..

All Day Tour with Terrible Lunch - Should Not Be This Expensive!

Started out well enough. We were picked up at our hotel by our guide and driver right on time. Our first stop was the Singapore Botanical Gardens which are beautiful and share a history with the Kew Gardens of England. Next, Faber Park and the overlook. Nice! Then we were off to explore Little Turkey (which we really liked, but felt that we didn't have enough time there). We expressed a desire to stay but it seemed we were now on a schedule. Off to the Buddha Tooth Temple (AMAZING!). The worst part of the day was about to happen - the lunch stop. I was surprised by the location and food choice, as lunch is not included in the tour and is paid for by the participant. It would not be a problem for them to choose a better restaurant. Back to Little India for refreshment before our canal cruise on Clarke Quay. I have to say the canal cruise was VERY NICE. None of our stops are impossible to reach on your own, so do some research before booking any private tour..

Alex picked us up at our hotel at the exact minute of the arranged time. He was perfectly knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a great overview of the city, its history and people. My wife had a very difficult episode of back pain and he tailored the tour to her specific condition. We had a blast, I think our trip to Singapore would have been greatly diminished without his help. I can only hope the rest of our SE Asia trip would go as well. Highly recommended..

Just ok

The tour was organized well and Alex Er was very knowledgeable, however we felt very rushed. We would have like to spend more time at many of the stops, including the ethnic neighborhoods and the Orchid Garden. Considering it was supposed to be an 8 hour tour nd we were dropped off at our hotel in 6 hours, there should have been time to linger at each stop a little. We were offered a chance to ride the Mt Fabre cable car, which we wanted to do. However, he told us we would have to pay him cash to ride, and then actually charged us more than the published price for the ride..

The orchid garden was exquisite. I would suggest this one very early in am to avoid large school crowds and heat. In the cultural neighborhoods there was kill the time to do a proper exploration. We did lunch in Little India and the recommendation of which restaurants to choose was excellent. Wonderful history tour.

This was a very interesting tour. Our tour guide Alex Er was friendly, helpful and informative. We learnt so much history of Singapore from our guide. The only downside for us was the tour included a lot of walking, we are both in our late seventies so we’re very tired by the end of the day. The river cruise was great with one exception, getting on and off the boat was a challenge To get in the boat our tour guide helped. Unfortunately getting off was a challenge as no hand was available to. assist, I slipped getting off shook me up a bit but got away with a bruised knee. Would recommend but state walking as age of tourist needs to be mentioned..

Comprehensive and informative day tour in beautiful Singapore

I only had one day in Singapore but I saw and learned so much during that day. Thanks to the driver Thomas and guide Michael who went and extra mile to make my day successful. Michael is a great story teller which makes it easier to remember huge amount of information he shared during my tour about e.g. the history and diversity of the town, various religions etc. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the main attractions and have a comprehensive information package about beautiful Singapore..

A fabulous experience.

We had the most wonderful day tour on our first visit to Singapore. Our guide Alex Er was charming and an enthusiastic guide of his beloved country. We were shown all the main sites by air-conditioned car and given lots of information about the history and many cultures of Singapore. Full day tour with my family

Our guide during the tour was Mr. Michael. He was in the hotel lobby with the transport on time for the start of the tour. The tour was well organised and customised as per our request. the guide Mr. Michael was knowledgeable and provided us with lot of information about singapore and its history which was very nice. He helped us out for booking a taxi for our return from the gardens by bay to the hotel at a reasonable price which was nice. We were able to cover quite a bit of singapore in this tour ( cable car round trip , buddha temple at china town , merlion park , vegetarian lunch at chinatown , shopping for souveniers , the botanical gardens/orchid gardens ). we were given a drop off at gardens by the bay to finish off the tour ( the tickets for the gardens by bay was not included in the tour cost ) Overall this is a must do and good way to cover the maximum of singapore in just one day. Would definitely recommend this tour at singapore. Tip : it is better to do the booking through the MAM holidays website rather than other websites so that it is easy to customise the tour..

Great way to see so much in a day

We were so lucky to have a private tour, just the two of us. Our tour guide Jeya (?) was lovely and very informative. Thomas our driver was great, he even came to save us with umbrellas when we got caught in the rain, plus found us a table at Chinatown, showed us the best place to have chicken rice, and paid for us because we didn’t have cash (we paid him back). J found the t-shirt I was looking for to take back for my daughter. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt very well looked after..

Comfortable, efficient, and a great way to see so much in one day!

I’ve been to Singapore a few times. I’ve always wandered about myself (with my family or friends) and you can see a lot. But, WOW, you see SO MUCH MORE with a guide like Anthony Sam. He pointed out things I would have missed. His knowledge was fantastic and his English is flawless! The private tour was also very effective to see a lot in a short time. Having a driver, we were able to get closer to things then get dropped off and later, picked up. We didn’t have to wait, or walk miles - just to get to an attraction. It’s a wonderfully packed day (the river tour is lovely too) and so worth it! And lunch… truly authentic cuisine. YUM! I’ll find Anthony for my next trip back for sure. Thank you!!.

Unforgettable full day tour of Singapore

In January 2023, my singapore sling enthusiastic friend and I booked the all day tour with Anthony for our first trip to Singapore and it ended up being hands down the best part of the trip for me. Anthony met us in our hotel lobby and took us on a guided tour of the city that was nothing short of spectacular. We hit many highlights including the national orchid garden, mount faber, the concert hall, had and amazing lunch at an authentic restaurant overlooking the river, took a cruise through the singapore river, and concluded the tour with stops at chinatown and little india. I loved every minute of this tour and Anthony was very good at tailoring the experience to our preferences and even offered really helpful suggestions such as going to the garden early to avoid crowds. Anthony was without a doubt the best tour guide I've ever had the privilege of meeting... I really appreciated his broad knowledge about his country and his ability to hold a conversation about anything and everything in addition to his hilarious sense of humor which made for an unbelievably fun day willed with laughter and unforgettable experiences. At the end of the tour, I was seriously contemplating whether I can move to Singapore permanently one day. I recommend this tour (particularly if its led by Anthony) without reservation to anyone, particularly if it is your first time visiting this amazing country... you will not regret it..

Great overview of Singapur
